This division of Crompton Greaves manufacturers a range of DC motors conforming to Internationally accepted quality standards. The division offers a range of state of the art Auxiliary Mill duty 800 series DC motors in frames 802 to 818 from 7.5 kW at 900 RPM to 187 kW at 435 RPM as per AISE/IPSS standards.

The Division has a tie - up with Siemens AG, Germany, a pioneer and world leader in DC motors to manufacture Laminated Yoke DC motors to Siemens designs upto 1550 kW ( 40000 Nm torque) in frame size upto 630 to cover all variable speed drive applications. The division has two manufacturing plants located at Ahemednagar and Mandideep.

Both the manufacturing facilities quality processes are certified ISO 9001.These motors find applications in diverse industries like Steel, Paper, Sugar, Cement, Rubber, Textiles, Printing Plastics, Machine Tools, Cable, Material Handling etc.
